Yellowstone Anglers' Basecamp Registration for 2025 is open!
Yellowstone Anglers’ Basecamp is an adult program of the Adventure West Council, BSA brought to you in collaboration with the fly fishing community. The camp provides an opportunity for fly fishing clubs and individual anglers to experience some of the best fly fishing in the world at a very affordable price.
Furthermore, there is a charitable purpose to the camp. The proceeds from Yellowstone Anglers’ Basecamp support the Adventure West Council in pursuit of their mission; to develop character, integrity and leadership in today’s youth through quality programs, outdoor experiences, and service to the community.
A Week in the Waters
Yellowstone Anglers’ Basecamp is located at Camp Buffalo Bill, a Boy Scout Camp located just 8 miles east of the Eastern Entrance to Yellowstone National Park and 45 miles west of Cody, Wyoming. The camp is situated along the banks of the North Fork of the Shoshone River, one of the finest freestone trout streams in the Rockies.
The camp runs weekly starting August 3, 2025, for 5 consecutive weeks. The cost of the camp is $1200/week all inclusive (does not include getting to and from camp). Deposit of $600 is due at the time of registration. Reserve your choice of weeks at this spectacular fishing destination.
Amenities
Guests will enjoy three full meals a day prepared by our onsite chef along with snacks and fruit to keep you energized throughout your days on the waters.
The camaraderie and scenery are second to none and wildlife abounds.
Our location affords the opportunity to fish the waters throughout Yellowstone National Park (2.5 M acres), the Shoshone National Forest (2.5 M acres), and the Bighorn National Forest (1.1 M acres). You can also fish the North Fork of the Shoshone River practically right out of your living quarters. We also have an onsite lake stocked with Cutthroat Trout.
